About the club

An introduction to the ENFIELD LITTLE ATHLETICS CENTRE

In 1998 the Enfield Little Athletics Club celebrated 25 years. This was celebrated with a 'Blast from the Past', when many of the clubs' record holders from previous years visited us. The Enfield Little Athletics Club moved from Manoora Avenue to it's present location at St Albans Drive, Clearview in 1996. Memberships at the club have remained consistent with around 130 registered athlete's per season. Coaching sessions are held on Wednesdays (5.00 - 6.00 p.m.). Home meetings are held at St Albans Drive, Clearview on Sunday mornings, commencing with a warm-up at 9:15 a.m. and finishing at approximately 12.30 p.m. Occasional Friday twilight meets are held commencing at 6.00 p.m.

All registered athletes must wear the approved centre uniform. Green/black and white polo shirt and black shots - either bike pants or short shorts. The association does not allow long, baggy shorts OR ANY EMBLEMS AT ALL. Athletes will be disqualified at Association events for having the wrong shorts so buy wisely! Wearing of hats is strongly recommended. The wearing of shoes is compulsory and association rules specify that they must be worn at all championships. Spikes are allowed for U12 - U17 for all events except non-lane running. Grass spikes are not allowed at Santos Stadium. Correct club uniform must be worn to claim club records and to enter and State event. Polo shirts can be ordered through the club but shorts need to be purchased from any retail outlet - but remember the rules!!
