Enfield LAC hosted its first cross country event ever on the 12 May 2008. By all accounts the day was a resounding success. The occasion brought 160 athletes from around Adelaide to participate in the challenging course which circled the St Albans Reserve. Distances ranged from 400m for Under 7 to 2000m for Under 17.
Thank you to all came out and assisted on the day. A special thank you to the following mothers who helped on Mother's Day: Beverly Dreyer, Kate White and Megan Houtman.
Athletes who want to compete in the Little Athletics State Cross Country Championship on 27 July 2008 are required to participate in 50% of the meeting to eligible for nomination.
