Season 2009 is under way!

We are already 4 home meetings into the season. We wish to welcome all our new members to the club and welcome back all the previous members. Our registration day and "Come and Try" was a great success and the club membership tops 160 members which is substantially higher than this time last year.

On Sunday 25 October 2009 we are hosting the C Grade Coaching course and we encourage as many parents as possible to participate. The course not only deals with the rules and regulations for each event, but it also introduces basic coaching skills which assist the kids on Sunday mornings.

ELAC will be hosting two big events this year. The Central Metro Regional Games and the N E Challenge. Both competitions will result in multiple clubs converging on the St Albans Reserve. The winner of the Regional Games is the club that is able to field the most members in relation to its size and we encourage all ELAC members to attend.
We will require many volunteers on the day for chaperons, canteen staff, starters, track marshalls etc to make the day a success.
